Teacher of the Year

Each year, ELCNF honors teachers who go above and beyond in working with our youngest learners to help set the learning foundation and better prepare them for elementary school and beyond. The winners are chosen from nominations which come from six counties: Putnam, St. Johns, Clay, Nassau, Baker, and Bradford.  There two categories:

The first is the Infant/Toddler teacher award and the second is the Preschool teacher of the year who works with ages 3-5. The winners are notified by a “Surprise” prize visit by a beloved character like Pete the Cat or Clifford along with balloons and flowers. The winners are then honored during an awards ceremony at our Annual Early Educators Conference at the Thrasher Horne Center in Orange Park and receive a $500 cash prize, courtesy of our conference sponsor Kaplan Early Learning Company and Clay Electric.
